We have been organizing trips to the Maldives for many years, and many couples have chosen to enjoy their honeymoon in the Maldives at an affordable price. Therefore, we have decided to create a special package for newlyweds who want to enjoy the stunning white beaches and turquoise waters while indulging in romantic evenings.
The honeymoon package differs from our standard travel package in that it places more emphasis on romance and beautiful moments together. We believe the Maldives is the ideal destination for a honeymoon, as it offers everything newlyweds could wish for.
We have made every effort to keep the base package as affordable as possible. For those with higher demands, we can also arrange accommodation in a 4 or 5-star all-inclusive resort. A combination of a local island and a resort is also possible to experience all that the Maldives has to offer. The Maldives has a constant temperature of around 30 degrees Celsius and is suitable for a honeymoon all year round.
You will stay on a local island that is ideally positioned. The island’s inhabitants are wonderful, and the hotel will pamper you, which is truly enjoyable! Especially for honeymooners, they provide excellent service, with a beautiful restaurant, extremely lovely rooms, and large beds.
Nearby the island are two sandbanks (sandbars in the sea), manta ray spots, shark spots, turtle spots, etc. Unlike other islands, it is not boring here; there are plenty of activities and happenings. The island has a small clinic, so health care is taken care of. On the sandy beach of the island, there is shade, and beach loungers are free of charge! The coral reef is close by, and snorkeling is a new adventure every day.

Where Do We Stay During the Trip
We have chosen one of the more attractive islands for you. While it’s not an island with luxury resorts, it is a local island with very beautiful beaches. The island features a few restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and hotels. The food offerings are sufficient even for those who choose packages without lunch and dinner. The island is an excellent base for exploring nearby paradise spots. It’s truly a beautiful location. We stay in a charming hotel, with large, very clean rooms equipped with AC. The staff understands very well what a honeymoon trip is and will pamper you even more.
Upon request, we can also arrange accommodation in a 4* or 5* resort, and at a great price! We have selected one of the more exclusive islands, boasting an authentic resort and stunning natural surroundings. The prices are reasonable, and the two islands are close to each other.

About the Country
Climate
The Maldives boasts a tropical climate, characterized by plenty of sunshine, with temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius year-round. However, the Maldives is also a destination that experiences some rainfall throughout the year, with the most frequent rain occurring between April and October during the southeast monsoon, particularly between June and August. It most often rains at night, and the Maldives are known for storms that are intense but short. Sea temperatures range between 25 to 28 degrees, and a light breeze ensures that lounging on the beach is comfortable and not too hot, keeping humidity, which is around 70-80%, quite bearable. Due to the summer-like temperatures, the Maldives calls for light summer clothing, and sunscreen and sunglasses are essential. Of course, don’t forget your swimwear, and water shoes are also recommended for safely exploring the coral reefs.
Culture and population
The Maldives is an archipelago with a population of about 380,000, with nearly a third living on the island of Malé, where the capital is located. The locals are called Dhivehin, and their language is one of the oldest Asian languages, known as Dhivehi. The Maldives is a vacation destination where, due to its popularity with tourists, most locals understand and speak English, and in more touristy areas, other languages such as Italian, French, or even Japanese are spoken. The diverse culture of the Maldives has been influenced by neighboring regions and visitors from around the world, making it a place with vibrant art, culture, language, beliefs, and traditions. The Maldivians also vary in appearance from island to island, depending on the dominant influence of roots from the Arab world, South and Southeast Asia, and Africa.
Visa and Vaccinations
For Slovenian citizens, a visa is required, which is obtained upon entry to the Maldives and is free of charge! The Maldives is an exotic destination, like all others, where basic hygiene precautions are recommended, such as frequent hand washing, drinking bottled water, and being cautious with food like fresh fruit and vegetables. We recommend travel insurance with assistance abroad.

When to Travel?
You can travel to the Maldives at any time of the year.
High season (December–May): TOP
The best weather you will encounter in the Maldives. Very little rain, low humidity, and blue skies dominate during this time.
Mid-season (May–November):
The weather is a bit more unpredictable, but it can still be quite sunny as there are no rules for the weather. Visibility in the sea is usually better.
March also marks the beginning of the surfing season, as the winds pick up.

The price includes:
- Package: 400€ + airfare (covers organization and trip preparation, international flight, and a deposit for hotel services)
- On-site costs: 399€/480$, payable at the hotel, which include transfer, excursions, accommodation, and meals (according to the package price). These on-site costs are settled in USD, which is why prices are also listed in dollars.
Additional charges:
- Room right on the water on the local island: 30€/night (if available)
- Extension on the local island
- Stay at a resort
- Tips for all local staff: 20 USD/person
Additional excursions (can be booked at registration)
- One-day visit to a private resort (all-inclusive): approximately 90 EUR/person + boat transfer (depends on the number of passengers) – currently not available!
- Snorkeling with manta rays: 40-50 EUR/person
- Trip to Ukulhas Island: 40-50 EUR/person
For personal expenses (additional excursions, souvenirs, extra drinks), we recommend budgeting an additional 200 USD per person, on top of the on-site costs.
Services are provided by the hotel and a local guide, and are conducted in English.
Payment method:
Upon registration, a deposit of 100€/person, the airfare, and a registration fee of 10€ per payment are required. The remaining balance of the package must be paid 1 month before departure. The registration fee is non-refundable. If you cancel the trip, the cancellation deadlines outlined in the general terms and conditions apply. Sixty days before the trip or before the invoice is issued, the paid deposit can be used for any of our trips within one year. You can read more about the general terms and conditions here. If the trip is canceled due to an insufficient number of registrations, we will, of course, refund your entire payment.
Before departure, you will need to pay the costs of the flight, accompanying services, trip preparation, insurance with assistance, and transfer to the airport. Everything else is paid locally, on-site.
Airfare costs are mostly non-refundable (no refund); for international flights, airlines only refund taxes, which are very low. Therefore, we recommend trip cancellation insurance.
The destinations are for travelers, and prices may vary. There may be minor deviations due to changes in prices or currencies, so we can only 100% guarantee the price for the organization and the flight.

midva bi se vam rada iskreno zahvalila za najlepših 14 dni v najinem življenju! Najini medeni tedni so bili fantastični. Sploh bivanje na otoku Rasdhoo. Izjemno morava pohvaliti Shallow Lagoon, ker sva se počutila tako domače, sprejeto, varno..tega res nisva pričakovala. Prav tako celotna vaša organizacija, vse podrobne informacije, pomoč ki sva jo res kot novopečena popotnika potrebovala! HVala, hvala hvala!! Ni besed s katerimi bi se lahko zahvalila za vse avanture in res nepozabno potovanje. Vsekakor vas priporočiva vsem prijateljem in znancem.
