Activity

1

You settle into a hotel, swim in the pool for 10 days, and never move further than the hotel bar. This type of travel is boring to us, so you won’t find it in our repertoire 🙂

2

A vacation suitable for those for whom a walk is a serious activity. A few excursions, but no treks or hikes, short drives, pleasant temperatures, everything arranged for maximum comfort. We don’t offer this kind of trip either 🙂

3

A relaxing, comfortable journey suitable for all ages. The trip includes some short walks, city tours on foot, medium-length drives, but nothing too demanding.

4

A relaxing journey suitable for all ages. The trip includes daily light treks, full-day city tours on foot, short to medium-length drives, and sometimes we may be surprised by changing weather conditions.

5

Medium effort. Suitable for anyone who is minimally active, regardless of age. Some walking, longer drives, sports activities, 1-day treks, occasional heat or cold at night, but everything is moderate, without extreme efforts.

6

Partially strenuous trip. Suitable for active people, regardless of age. More walking, longer drives (some overnight transportation), sports activities, 1-3 day treks, occasional heat or cold at night, but everything is moderate, sometimes requiring more effort.

7

A trip for dynamic people, various sports (rafting, biking, etc.), treks up to 4 days, walking around cities and surroundings, higher altitudes, desert or mountain climates. Moderate endurance and a desire for movement are needed. The climate is harsher at times than what we’re used to at home.

8

Everyday activities, various sports requiring better motor skills (rafting, biking, motorbikes, etc.), more challenging treks, higher altitudes, desert or mountain climates. In the desert, we cook and set up tents ourselves. Significant endurance and a strong desire for movement are needed. The climate ranges from cold to hot.

9

A very active trip. Conditions are tropical, desert, or high-altitude. Suitable for travelers who are regularly active and resilient. Hiking through the jungle, desert, or climbing peaks. Longer treks, crossing deserts on foot, extreme jungle expeditions, etc. A tough and unforgettable adventure!

10

EXTREME! We push beyond human limits. We cross mountain ranges, get lost in the desert, and spend 10 days sleeping in the jungle away from civilization. We cook for ourselves. Bear Grylls style.

Cultural shock

1

In a local restaurant not far from home, instead of a hamburger, you order a farmer’s platter while watching a cow grazing freely in a nearby field. Everything is the same as at home. Pointless.

2

The food, culture, and customs here are completely familiar. Very Western… The food is similar to ours, if not identical, with no communication issues. Suitable for all travelers, even inexperienced ones on their first trip. No surprises.

3

An easy-going trip for those who want to experience something new, but not too much. From the perspective of food, culture, and customs. The journey is also suitable for less experienced travelers, experiencing just a little bit of newness. Most things are already familiar. Language=OK.

4

You can already start to sense cultural differences. The food is often something we’ve tried before in a domestic version, the ingredients are familiar, but the taste is slightly different and more authentic in the local environment. The customs are interesting, the people unpretentious but full of surprises.

5

Moderate cultural shock. The food is no longer what we know, transportation, culture, and customs change. In some places, it’s surprisingly different, and customs are different from ours. Travelers need to adapt, but nothing too extreme.

6

We feel the culture! We eat both at local markets and in nice traveler restaurants. Sometimes the flavors are unfamiliar and different. We get to know local customs that sometimes surprise us and are not understandable, requiring a bit more patience.

7

A trip for those who love a completely different environment. The cultural shock is already strong, and travelers need to adapt. People’s customs are different, as is the food (spicy, simple…), behavior on the streets is different from ours, and the local culture is entirely different from our own. Such a trip already leaves a mark and usually stays with you even after you return home.

8

From a culinary perspective, it’s an extremely intense cultural shock. The food is often very spicy or completely different from what you’re used to. You experience the local scene in all its glory, and on treks, you interact with locals who live lives far removed from the modern world, without electricity or running water. The locals don’t understand you, and everything is different…

9

A very strong cultural shock. A trip suitable for experienced travelers who enjoy something new and different. Significant adaptation is required from the traveler (visiting tribes, living as the locals do, eating with them…). True adventure in every sense of the word. Usually, when you return home, you’re still processing everything for some time.

10

INSANE! A complete 100% cultural shock. We live with tribes, eat their food prepared in their way with their spices. Local customs are rarely experienced by anyone and can’t be adapted to, but they can be accepted. The local culture is incomprehensible, living in the local way, far from civilization.
