🌍 10 Years of Success – Legendary Iceland Tour
Our top Iceland tour has been one of our biggest hits for over a decade! We used to organize the popular Landmannalaugar trek, but now we focus on day hikes that offer more freedom and exploration at your own pace.
🏙️ Starting in Reykjavík – the pulse of Iceland’s capital
We begin the journey in Reykjavík, where we pick up our rental cars at the airport and set off to explore the island. We stroll through the capital and visit the main sights – including the quirky Icelandic Phallological Museum, which never fails to amuse (and is always a bit too short!).
🌋 Golden Circle – geysers, waterfalls, and rift zones
On the second day, we explore the famous Golden Circle – marveling at the geothermal wonders Geysir and Strokkur, refreshing ourselves by the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, and walking by the mystical Þingvellir National Park, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet.
🥾 Hiking through lava fields, rivers, and glaciers
We spend the next days enjoying active adventures in nature. We go on several one-day hikes, often ending with a soak in thermal springs in the wild. We walk past volcanoes, lakes, geysers, and across lava fields – surrounded by glaciers and the powerful silence of the Icelandic wilderness.
🧖♀️ Relaxation beneath the Hengill volcano
On our second hiking day, we unwind in a hot stream under the Hengill volcano – a blend of nature, serenity, and warmth. One night is spent in a traditional Icelandic hut in pristine surroundings.
⛰️ The Great Iceland Circle – from islands to waterfalls
We continue along the southern coast of the island. We visit the Westman Islands, where volcanic craters, cliffs, and breathtaking ocean views await. Our route passes the Eyjafjöll mountains, home to stunning waterfalls like Seljalandsfoss, Skógar, and the majestic Skógafoss.
🌊 Dyrhólaey, puffins, and the black beach
At the magical viewpoint of Dyrhólaey, we spot colorful puffins, admire incredible views of Iceland’s southern coast, and walk along the iconic black sand beach, maybe dipping our feet in the North Atlantic – or even riding Icelandic horses.
🏞️ Skaftafell National Park and the glacial lagoon
In Skaftafell National Park, we admire the black waterfall Svartifoss, rich flora and fauna, and awe-inspiring glaciers. We take a boat ride between the icebergs of Jökulsárlón – a truly breathtaking experience.
🍲 Hofn and the fjords – lobster, beaches, and wilderness
In the town of Hofn, we try the famous lobster soup, stroll along wild beaches, and explore endless fjords before reaching a tunnel that leads us inland. We overnight by a beautiful lake and visit a church-turned-hostel.
🦊 Ásbyrgi, arctic foxes, and Dettifoss
In Ásbyrgi National Park, we hike among dramatic rock formations of Jökulsárgljúfur, then stand in awe at Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall. An optional sailing safari offers a chance to spot whales, seabirds, and more puffins.
🌋 Mývatn – volcanoes, baths, and views
The Mývatn area enchants with its volcanoes, geothermal fields, and spectacular views. We visit Krafla volcano, the Námafjall fields, and the Grjótagjá cave, where the boldest can take a dip. The turquoise Mývatn Nature Baths are the perfect finale – hot water, a lake view, and maybe even a cold beer in hand.
🍦 Goðafoss, Akureyri, and local ice cream
We pass the picturesque Goðafoss waterfall on the way to Akureyri, the cultural capital of the north, where charming local shops and legendary Icelandic ice cream await.
🧖 Ending at the Blue Lagoon
Before departure, we stop by the world-famous Blue Lagoon – even if we just admire it from the outside, we’re already saying goodbye to the wonders of this northern gem.
🌋 BONUS: Fagradalsfjall Volcano
If Fagradalsfjall Volcano is still active, we’ll hike to the viewpoint (about 1.5 hours round trip) on our way to the airport. The perfect cherry on top of this natural adventure.

Acommodation
Accommodations (homes and huts) in Iceland are verified. We choose hotels, which are nice, genuine with friendly people and good service. We use quadruple rooms,that have their own shower and toilet. On trekking we sleep in dormitory. Somewhere we can sleep in camping (category one million star). Accommodations are different categories.
About country
Iceland is a Nordic island country between the North Atlantic and the Arctic Ocean. It has a population of 329,100 and an area of 103,000 km2, making it the most sparsely populated country in Europe. Iceland is volcanically and geologically active. The interior consists of a plateau characterised by sand and lava fields, mountains and glaciers, while many glacial rivers flow to the sea through the lowlands. Iceland is warmed by the Gulf Stream and has a temperate climate, despite a high latitude just outside the Arctic Circle.The ridge marks the boundary between the Eurasian and North American Plates, and Iceland was created byrifting and accretion through volcanism along the ridge. Many fjords punctuate Iceland’s 4,970-kilometres long coastline, which is also where most settlements are situated. The island’s interior, the Highlands of Iceland, is a cold and uninhabitable combination of sand, mountains and lava fields.

Visas are not required. Vaccinations are not needed.
Group and guide
The group is large up to five cars. The group guides are Gregor or Matic. For the whole journey need 13-16 days.
When on the road?
Iceland is beautiful from May to August, when it is warm, the nature is awakened and is great for photography. It’s great even in winter, you can discover beautiful idyll and observe aurora borealis in the sky. Departures with Char Club and organisation of the Agency Huda Tura are in June and July. The exact date of departure can check on the right side – WHEN ON THE ROAD. The number of places is limited!

In case of a smaller number of registrations, the trip will be cancelled or the price for organization and guiding will be proportionally increased. For 8–12 participants, the price increases by €150.
